Keith M. Gillies, CFP®, CLU, ChFC
Founding Partner (WS,AFG)
I am Keith, and I have dedicated my life to helping individuals, professionals, and business owners achieve their financial, business, and charitable goals since 1981. As a Founding Partner of United Wealth Advisors Group, I am also the Managing Principal of Wealth Solutions, LLC, The Pension Center, LLC, and The Acacia Group, LLC. My primary responsibilities revolve around performing comprehensive financial and estate planning for my clients, specializing in comprehensive planning, accumulation planning, and distribution planning. I am motivated by the opportunity to work with my clients and help new clients solve their financial puzzles.
Throughout my career, I have earned several prestigious designations, including the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, ChFC®, and CLU®. I am proud to be a leader in my field, serving as Registered Representative with Ameritas Investment Company and Investment Advisor Representative with Ameritas Advisory Services. Over the years, I have held numerous leadership roles, including Chair of the Ameritas Field Advisory Cabinet and the Broker-Dealer Task Force. My contributions to the community and profession have been recognized with my induction into the Ameritas Hall of Fame and the Lester A. Rosen Humanitarian Award. Before embarking on my career, I obtained my MBA from Tulane University and my BA from the University of New Orleans.
I am deeply committed to service, both professionally and personally. I believe that the greatest value I can provide is that I truly care about my clients and their loved ones. Prior to joining UWAG, I have served as the past President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and have held leadership roles at both the state and local levels. I am also a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, achieving Top of the Table status.
Currently, I reside in my hometown of New Orleans with my wife, Cindy. Two of our children, Blake and Misty, work directly with me, which is truly special. Our daughter Amy is an Occupational Therapist, Lindsay and her husband own a family pharmacy, and Keagan is a professional baseball player.
In my community, I have chaired the St. John the Baptist Parish Planning and Zoning Commission for over twenty years, led the Parish Select Presidential Advisory Committee for Finance, and served my church in various leadership roles. My dedication was recognized with the Distinguished Service Award from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community. In my free time, I love to read, travel, and play golf, all of which provide me with the relaxation and inspiration I need to continue serving my clients and community with passion and dedication.
